OK, figured out how to hook up the effin computer, (duh, I'm a farmer eh!) and now that I'm frustrated with the 495 Olds install, I'm gonna try to tune my VE tables. I'm using Yelo's excellent sticky as a guide, but where is the LTFT reset function he's referring to? And to disable the MAF, do I zero the entire Airflow vs Frequency table that's in the General Airflow section? Thanks for helping y'all, this is my new favorite website.

PS
So far, all I've really changed is the speed limiter, but that alone is worth the price of admission!

The STFT and LTFT reset button is under the VCM controls button in the scanner.

There is a fail frequency for the MAF that should be set to 0 mhz. I don't have the software in front of me, so I don't know exactly where it's at though.

Yes you should be.

As a quick fix you need to click the save icon that says "save data as" or just go to Scan-Save data as.

What YOU are doing is saving the configuration of the scanner displays, not saving any data though.

Now, the LONG Term solution is to
a. read the help file www.hptuners.com/help where this is explained.
b. visit & read our "Getting Started" section of the forum http://www.hptuners.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=37 where you'll find many VERY USEFUL pdf files & guides that will help you in the immediate & distant future through many things including the scanner & editor quick start guides an acronym list, etc. These are invaluable things you really NEED to use to your advantage.

Ya what he said. I thought that might have been the problem. It can be a little cornfusing having two different save buttons. You'll get it fingered out though.
