Hey guys, got my HPT Pro, but now I keep blowing the fuse! I haven't been able to do anything yet because the cig fuse takes a crap as soon as I plug in my laptop! Anybody have a clue as to why this would happen?

...and just to be sure, I just hooked up to the Old Man's '06 RCLB 4.8, and same thing, the fuse blows right away. Did I get a faulty cable, or am I doing something wrong?

Sounds likes a problem with the cable since it popped the fuse on two different cars, you might want to email support at HP Tuners

Doh, I didn't have the MPVI hooked up inline. Sorry, dumb farmer on the board. Got it going now.

OK fellas- I got the package, man what a ride this has been. I'm up and running XP now, the box came with 2000. I did some scanning to fill the cells, but I feel I'm poking around in the dark. Truck didn't object at all when I disabled the MAF so I went ahead and added a half a degre of spark across the board. No pinging, but running a scan it dod show the KR going to like 3.2 at certian points.........

Hey Kenny- ho ya doin' over there with your Denali? I upped the timming .2* and am happy so far, I'm still trying to make sense out f the LTFT AND STFT and doing what with the difference. I ran a scan and the timming gets pulled by like 3* under like 40% TPS and 1500rpm. So I'm continuing to study then richen things up.............

I'm making progress. I don't have all of the tables for this pcm that my '06 had so it kinda limits what I can right now. I need to order a wide band so I can really see what this thing it doing!

But, I already ordered some Nitto Terra Grapplers and a leveling kit for the front. They came in today, so hopefully I can get them installed on Thursday...damn 4th of July in the middle of the week

Sounds like you're making decent progress. After I read my PCM the 1st time, I just sat an stared at it for a few days
