Default Fault code after TBSS intake install

After retrofitting the TBSS intake to my '04 I have a P0496 stored for high purge flow. The purge valve on the intake is normally suspect but its a new part because of the need to relocate it when installing this manifold. Is there a compatibility problem with the older truck's ability to control this valve? I wouldn't think so since I'm sure it's either open or closed and the connectors are identical. Or did I just pay $50 for a faulty part from the dealer? I know the FTP sensor may also be suspect but it seems less likely in my situation

i ran into all kinds of issues with that system a few years ago. everything from small leak to purge solenoid circuit high flow, purge circuit low voltage and i just got annoyed and ripped the whole thing out and tuned out the system. i even tried the same solenoid with my tbss swap and it didnt work. the only thing i kept was the canister for the evap from the fuel tank. good luck getting this fixed. 2 shops and the dealer could not fix my issue.
