I installed my new PCM from Nelson. Installed 42lb. injectors and removed the FMU. It seems like its going lean up top right before it shifts, not sure if its pulling timing or running out of fuel kind of like its surging from 5000 -5500 rpm. For some reason Im not able to record my log with HPT??? The first time I used HPT and ran a log it saved it, Now I can't figure out how to save my log??? Hooked a scanner to it, At WOT right before the shift point im getting about 890 on the o2. Is this too lean??

890 sounds about right at WOT. at 900 that is when you are getting a little to rich. dont know why you cannot record your log, does it give you any error code or something. Try a different USB port mine does not work on a certian on but will work on the others. But when you save go to : Scan> Save Data As. Do not go to: File> Save Config As.
Oh and you should not need to change your VE table or anything when you switch injectors. If you have to than your injector flow rate is out of range. That is my personal opinion.

First off, I wouldn't trust the stock O2 to be able to judge wether you are rich or lean. The stock O2 can only read 14.5-14.9 accurately, outside that realm, they can range from 700mv-1000mv which can be anywhere from 12.0-13.7. This is a proven fact, do not trust your stock O2s to judge if you are rich or lean at WOT, it will only state wether you are richer or leaner then 14.7. That's it! (see image below for more info)
Get a true wideband to verify if you are running rich or lean. Wideband now cost only $200 for a gauge/controller and sensor, plus they are easier to wire up, some like the AEM are only three wires.

Now, if you just changed the IFR (injector flow rate), you can manipulate the IFR table based on the LTFTs (if they were near zero, prior to the injector swap) to get your LTFT back to near zero. This will take time. In order to properly adjust for new injectors, I like having the pulse width minimum of the injector, the rated flow and at what PSI of the injector, as well as the offset ... to properly size the injectors. Did you provide Nelson with at least the part number and manufacturer of the injectors?

I'm gonna run another log and try to save it on my way home tonight. I can't remember Last time I went to the dyno, but can they check your A/F with a tail pipe probe, or is that not accurate either? I know I need a Wide Band, Just kind of tight on money right now. New baby and wife doesn't work anymore to help support by addiction! lol. I yeah I told Allen what injectors I got. I also need to check my Fuel pressure again.

I've been having a similar issue. Mine was running a little lean up top and KR was pulling timing. I thought it was a fueling problem so I ditched the inline booster pump (190lph I think) and installed a 255 LPH in tank. This didn't help either.
My LTFT had also started running 20-25, WTF. I put it back in OLSD and the wideband only shows +- 1% error and the truck runs much better. Still getting some KR, but not near as bad. I guess I was having some trouble w/ the MAF.(?) I'm going 2bar SD now.

I wasn't getting any either. I suspect mine might be dirty. I get oil seeping at my innercooler connections. Only thing I can figure is it's dirty or some how out of calibration. A little bit of error is only multiplied at higher airflow/boost I guess. I did get bank1 and bank2 lean codes before I replaced the pump. Code went away but LTFT were still pretty high.

You don't have to save it before you turn the engine off do you? I am pretty sure I kill my engine then save it. Maybe I don't I'll have to go look at my logs. I know I start logging before I start the engine when I use my laptop for logging...

I'm pretty sure it loses connection w/ the key off.No power to aldl. I could be wrong I've been doing it this way for so long I can't remember what happens if you turn it off first. I'll try it tomorrow just to be sure. I've got alot of logging to do.
