At this point, my redneck education would have me tapping on the starter solenoid to see if It's sticking. If that doesn't help, then try jumping the terminals on the solenoid to see if it's burned up inside.

Connect the ground from the back of the heads to the body.

the ground is not all the way hooked up. its loose. the starter is new and was tested at orielly and shes good. the bigger issue i am having is why my dash dies and when i unplug the battery or the ignition fuse it turns back on again. ill hook up the ground and report back in a min.

it was the ground strap. i didnt think that one ground being loose would cause all those issues. thank you so much. i was about to pull my hair out.

Sounds like a loose battery cable.
