Default electric fan

im looking into buying an ls1 electric fan for my 2000 silverado. What do i need to install this. And if anyone has one of these for sale let me know what you have and what you want to sell it for thanks.

Try to find a set of 05 and up gm truck fans,much better fit and a lot more airflow,I tried the ls1 fans and didn't like them,looked crappy and didn't cool well enough,switched to the 05 fans and it looks factory with plenty of airflow.

will i still need the nelson harness with the 05 fans

Yes, one with the proper connections. Or, you can always make it yourself if you have the ability.
