I have an 08 ecsb 5.3, I just ordered a K&N CAI and a cat back. A friend of mine has an efi live tuner for his 00 duramax. I've been told it will work with my truck as well once I buy the license. So that is my first question, just some reassurance that his efi live will work. Second, anyone else with similar mods have any luck tuning their truck or advice on where to possibly get some parameters or a tune emailed to me?

 

Holden crazy.com for tunes. Yes it will work just fine, provided he is good with gas engines. Tuning gas and diesel is totally different

 

Yeah, wish you could get the same gain with a gas as you can with a diesel, but i'll be doing the tuning once I get some more information on it and read up on it. I'll just be using his efi live.
