Default Ecm reprograming

Hey people, im really thinking of buying a L9H camshaft to put in my L20..Now since im new at everything ecm wise, id like to know if i can get away with stock tune for an upgraded lift of .043 / .034 ?
I have the E38 ecm with flex fuel injectors in wich i beleive can flow 36./h. lb .
I konw the L9H got the big 54./h. lb injectors. But i wont be near needing the same cfm since i'm 1400 cc smaller. Can you put a L9H ecm with its maf sensor or no need of it? What's my best options ?

Just tune the stock computer for the change in camshaft.

Running a different computer would make more work and still require a tune, that computer wouldn't be programmed to your trucks TCM in the transmission.

To FFDP:

Ok thanks again for the information, and since you seem to kmow quite a bit on tuning vortec engines..I know now, that I can buy a tune(from dial in info) from blackbear right? But what hardware do I need to connect to my OBD2 connector to do the work? Does Blackbear sales a handheld unit that connects to the truck or you do that with a laptop with an OBD2 wire?

What kind of money I'm looking at to get all necessery items to tune my ecm properly?

I'm a newbie at tuning but I learn fast..that I can tell you lol.

I have my automotive technology diploma, just didnt play much at all in ecm programming.
