Trucks been running sluggish lately so I pulled the GMS maf off and pulled out the HPP tuning and reset the truck's computer. I let it sit for about 5 minutes with the fuses pulled, then turned the key off and re-installed the fuses. I let it sit another 10 minutes then started it up, it tried to die but I gave it some gas and it was fine. I let it idle to about 10 minutes then drove it around the block. I did a quick 0-60 run and my 0-40 time was 3.37 second and the 0-60 was 6.66. Before the reset and with the GMS and HPP, my last four 0-40 & 0-60 runs were 3.5ish & 6.6ish respectively. So the rest may help. I'm going to drive it like this until the SMOKE UPD intake I ordered arrives and I'm going to see how big a difference it makes. Then I'm going to install the GMS and check it then the HPP and check it. The truck didn't feel that bad after the reset, the low end seemed good, hence the nice 0-40 time. What felt and sounded funny was the truck shifting at 5600, I'm use to it running up to almost 6000, it pulled OK in 1st but it did lug some when it shifted into second. It definitely pulls better with the higher shift points. I'll keep you posted if any one want more information.

The GMS leans out the truck as does the HPP3. Both may lean the truck out a little too much for good power. I had the HPP3 and then got the GMS and the truck ran worse, too lean maybe, ran better with the stock maf and HPP3.

I've test the GMS and the truck is about .15 seconds quicker 0-60 with it, it definitly helps. I've never tried the truck with just the shifts points higher and NO HPP tuning, I will this time. I want to see if the added performance from the HPP is a result of the higher shift points and/or the tuning. Although, Oxidizer on the FSC forum dynoed a truck with & with out the HPP tuning. The 93 tuning was good for something like 13 hp, here's a link to the thread.

I'm going to try several combo to see which is best.
