I need a new engine computer for my '97 chevy silverado 5.7L. I found a computer out of a v6 trailblazer, it has the same serv. no. on it but none of the other numbers match, i just wanted to know if this would work in my truck.

 

if its out of a v6, im guessing its not gonna work. Maybe with a 5.7 base tune, but I think the wiring harnesses are different, which I think makes it no good, but I am not tuner. look up a gm parts center, something like that, I know the names, but I don't know if they are sponsors (i don't know the rules about that). You should be able to get one for around $100
