Default ECM question

I am having a couple of problems with the truck i want to have the dealer look at, but the truck used to have a Diablosport predator tune in it. From what i have read elsewhere, the dealer will void your powertrain warranty if they see the ecm has been reflashed.

Is it possible to get around this by buying a new GM ECM unit and installing it in the truck?

I have found a website that sells them: click

Has anybody used that site before?

just for reference, the truck is a 2010 silverado 4.8l 4wd.

just make sure you do the "restore original backup" process first, before you take it to the dealer... so that the original stock GM tune programming is back in the ecm...

and no, don't swap ecm's... those days are gone... other info is stored in the ecm's on these newer vehicles, such as mileage... so if the mileage in the ecm doesn't match up, then they know right away you've swapped ecms out...

FYI - 2010 ECM's are available ONLY with the exchange of a failed unit.
