Default Converting AWD t-case to RWD only to get it on a dyno to tune??

I Know Someone Has Done This On Here Before And Need To Know How To Do It. I Can Pick Up A T-case Cheap And Mod It To Make It Work If It Is Possible. This Is For Tuning Reasons, My Truck Does Not Fit On Any Awd Dynos, Too Long Of A Wheel Base.

remove the front driveshaft, I've seen it done a million times, it holds just fine.

Depends on the t-case. The 08's use a Borg Warner that is an open differential type. The NV149 (I think) used on the pre-2007 awd is a clutch activated one.

I have been told NOT to disconnect the front driveshaft on the borg warner unit.

I built one. I did one for marks truck with the Twin Turbo setup we did some time back.

I took a spare case and welded the viscous coupler shut, and welded a couple other gears together and took out the drive chain to the front unit, worked like a champ. Help almost 900FT lb of TQ so far.
