Default cluster display issue.

Sorry if this has been discussed to death but i couldnt find my exact symptom set in search.
anyway here goes.
I just bought my 1999 rclb 4.8 and everything worked fine. Then this morning i went out and started it and the odometer and shift indicator are not lit up. Also the temp guage not working. If i put it in on position odo and shift indicator work. Put back in run and they go out.
my thoughts are probably the IGN switch. Any help with running this down would be great.
thanks in advance.

Figured it out. Apparently one of the wires to the cruise fuse came out. Pin and all. I just put it back in place and everything works as it should. So glad it wasnt cluster or wiring in ignition somewhere.
