clogged fuel filter causing high injector rates?
#1
last time I logged I was looking at 100% injector rate, I changed my fuel filter yesterday and changed the oil and plugs and now its showing ~92% on the same pull... would the filter alone cause this?

Filter could have caused it. Weather would also. If you logged a run on a cool not so warm engine and compare it to a run in hotter air with a warm engine it could vary that much.

You injectors should go over 80% duty cycle for very long. Going over that is usually do to demand created by aftermarket high perfomance parts, but apparently that's not in your problem. You need to get the duty cycle down if you want the injector solenoids to live a long productive life. Check your fuel pressure.

the truck has a 4.8L with an LS6 cam and 6.0L heads, CAI and thats about it. The duty cycle was only up high under HEAVY load... normal driving it wasn't such. I don't really dog on it anymore given prices of fuel so its not that big of an issue on that. I need to get back to tuning it.
