Default Can i install the nelson now??? or wait for...

My nelson tuned comp came in today and i havent installed my 160 stat yet, its still stock. The comp is tuned for the 160 and headers which will go on this weekend. Will it hurt to go ahead and install the comp?? Will it lean the truck out bc of the hotter stat? Please let me know.
Thanks,
Derek

i would wait. it will should take you less than 20 minutes to do both mods together. also...if you have the nelson harness for your fans it will keep your fans running 100% of the time.

You''ll be fine, your fans will just be coming on earlier, but the only other adjustment will be maybe throwing a hair more timing in, and for the headers, he just adds a hair more fuel through the mid range. I had my ls6 cam tune in before I installed it, no problems at all. Your going to be running in closed loop anyhow, so a 14.7 afr will be maintained anyhow, you wont run lean or rich.

if you aint in a rush, might as well wait till you got everything on, that way it is reading right during the learning process...

With those mods there is no danger at all. You wont go lean, the computer will compensate for. Your not adjusting anything major at all with those mods, they are just very minor tweaks.
