Default Best AEM wideband?

Hey guys. I've been away from tuning for awhile but looking to get back into it. I have an 03 Chevy Silverado with an lq9 that is NA. I'd like to buy a wideband to make tuning easier but seems like there is a lot of new styles available.

I was wondering which one is easiest to use with HPtuners on an 03 PCM.

AEM UEGO 30-4110 - Original, cheapest, good track record. Outdated?
Digital Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge | AEM

AEM 30-0300 X series - Not sure how compatible with hptuners?
X-Series Wideband UEGO AFR Sensor Controller Gauge | AEM

AEM 30-0333 x series with OBDII - Not sure how useful on a non-CAN pcm?
X-Series OBDII Wideband AFR Controller Gauge | AEM

Any other recommendations?

The UEGO works great, they aren't really ever out of date as the sensor is the same exact sensor that 80-90% of widebands run now anyway.

If you don't have can-bus, which 2003 does not, then the higher dollar wideband isn't worth the money.

The UEGO can easily be wired into the trucks AC pressure sensor or the EGR sensor circuit if you are using the standard HP Tuners interface. Done the EGR circuit before with zero problems.

That doesn't matter, you'd use the same wires to use in on the PRO interface and it works there fine as well.

does the same apply for an 06 silverado? I'm trying to decide the same as the OP, also using HP tuners

Uego, its the best of the best of the best! SIR!

Over the last century i have owned one and only one! Wideband sniffer! It is the UEGO!

Its been whored out onto lawnmowers, atv's, vehicals, various two legged deer, etc.

It works as intended and works forever.

Muuuhahahahahah

Agreed, run the UEGO on ol' 2kred and just picked one up for the vette as well.

Cheapest isn't always the way to go but in this case, it is the best for the money. Keep an eye out for them on the bay, picked one up for cheap.

Yep - running the UEGO as well with no issues - can't beat the performance for the price.

I'd go with the 30-0300 for the ground-offset compensation and response time. Someone, on the HPT forum did a test where they overlaid the 30-0333 CAN output with the compensated analog output. The two traces were nearly indistinguishable.

The 30-0333 is really only useful if you have a CAN based ECU, or, add the pins/wires to teh harness for analog output.

I use a 30-0310 ( same WB, less the display ) on my 2002 2500HD w/ Wynjammer supercharger & HPTuners. Totally got my VE table straightened out

Definitely worth the extra $10 or so, over a 30-4110 / 30-2310
