Steve (Frost) is a very good tuner, does things RIGHT!

Ok this is good to here.. I have a mail tune, the back and for emails, blah blah, is starting to get on me nerves.. He is only about a hour or so south of me.. Just wanted to see if anybody had tunes by him, but see 2 other tuner guys are saying he is good, soo thats good..

 

John, He was a tremendous help with me straightening my old Camaro's "professional's dyno tune" that cost me nearly $500 for a WOT tune and zero transmission changes, lol.

I came across a deal on HPTuners software at that time so I was able to datalog and email him the tune back and forth for him to guide me in the right direction...something the "pro" couldn't seem to do, even with my car right in front of him. Steve got it figured out in 4 or 5 tries, via email. When he explained what all was done wrong, it was no surprise why the car did some of the things it did. That 3755# car drove like a stocker and ran 11.60's all day.

He also helped me straighten out my buddy's 03 Z06 tune, which was ***-raped by Jeff Creech from Carolina Auto Masters at some Corvette dyno day. That car went from 480+ rwhp done on a dyno, in person, by the so-called Vette "pro", to over 500rwhp done by Steve's tune changes via email. That result was accomplished in like 2 hours via 3 reflashes...

Hahahaha. I have seen some of Jeff Creech's tuning work and it seems to all be an absolute *** raping. I mean I am not one usually to talk bad about another tuners work but he is a real piece of work.

 

Piece of "work" is being nice enough...lol
