Default AEM wide band

I just hooked this up, can anyone tell me why it jumps around or is it normal? or could it be my tune is that off? this is my first one so be easy.

That's not normal. Check for an exhaust leak.

So could it be tune? I'm going to check for leaks now. Dose it need to heat up to work correctly? think its to far back from flange?

Probably not in the tune, that's a lot of fluctuation. Usually the trims will hold it fairly steady. Mine bounces fairly consistently from 0.99-1.03 lambda. Was it fully warmed up/in closed loop?

The sensor does need to warm up, but it has an internal heater and takes maybe 10 seconds to start reading fairly well.

Did I need to hook it up not screwed into the pipe and let it learn or anything? I just went straight in and here we are.

That's not the tune, that's a exhaust leak or sensor issue.

I put the scope on it and no leaks, i to the sensor out and cleaned the part that reads and now it looks like this. it had a little anti siez on it.
