Default 96 Hardbody LS swap

I have a 96 nissan reg cab truck inthe garage that needs an engine. I got it to put a used 2.4 in there and call it a DD. Only problem is I can buy a LS engine for what that 2.4 will cost me and my hotrodding roots are pulling me to do a LS swap.

Any info or advice...

Dont let the harness scare you. its fairly simple. check this site out. Lots of info. Dont pay attention to the website name lol. there is more about LS motors than the LT1.

Wanna know the secrets to the wiring??
All pink wires go to a fused ign source.
All orange wires go to 12v+
All black wires go to ground.
Bigest purple wire in the harness is your starter wire.
Flash in a tune and turn security off.
Fire it up and go have fun.

I sent you my number. Ive done a few harnesses and they are really simple. Dont let it scare you.

It was a 05 engine/harness we put in a 95 rcsb chevy. It was fun.

How could it possibly be that easy?

It is easy.
It only took me a week of reading diagrams and trying it that weekend.
Take the engine/trans connector off the fuse box. All the wires you need are right there. Just pull them out of the big connector and get to work.
Theres a (edit) green/white or yellow wire that you need along with 12 volts and a ground to run to an OBD2 port. Vola!!

On my samurai, i ran a cat5 cable thru the firewall and connected it to positive , Ground, and the serial data wire from the pcm.
Put a rj45 connector on the end and i can plug in my EFI Live or scan gauge. Works lime a charm.
