Default 5.3L L59 Flex Fuel to 6.0L LQ9 tuning help...what all to change??

I have searched all over the internet and this forum for this and have only found people mail ordering their tunes that are doing the same thing. I want to do my own tuning.

I am about to swap a '03 L59 5.3L (VIN Z FlexFuel) engine out with a '06 SS Silverado LQ9 engine. I plan on using the 5.3 intake so i can retain the 33# Flex Fuel injectors and return fuel rail.

My question is: What all parameters will I have to change (or not change) to get this 6.0L working in a Flex Fuel vehicle?

Just Cyl Vol?, Main VE?, Spark High and Low Tables?

Leave IFR's alone?

There are a ton of differences when I compare to a '03 SS tune. BTW the OS is 12579405 and I am tuning with EFILive

ANY help will be greatly appreciated...

Just get a tune with the same OS and do a full flash and adjust your IFR for your flexflue injectors

No expert on E85 but in my 2011 5.3 tune file there are parameters for Flex fuel in both the fuel and spark tables. Sensors in the tank if I not wrong correct stoch value. Might read more in HP Tuners site.

As an example notice the spark tables at the bottom middle. Like blazinblue said, get a tune.

Thanks for the replies...

I wound up building my own tune off of the factory 5.3 tune and copying and pasting a bunch of tables from a '06 LQ9 tune. Such as fuel, spark, airflow, idle, etc. I just left all the TQ management in so try to hold on to my 60E as long as possible. Then I slapped engine in yesterday... and she is screaming with no problems!!
