But you said you took this tune (computer) and it ran in a completely different truck? If so, then it has nothing to do with the ecu (tune)...... I would be looking for a wiring issue, or a loose ground?

Did you see if your truck would start with the other computer, from the truck you put the tuned computer in?

Yea im leaning more towards a wiring issue under the dash . Took it apart already gonna look through it later. I did find a cut wire down there after just quickly looking through it. I did check under the whole truck for any lose grounding wire and even checked with a volt meter to see if there is ground on the motor and chasis.

I did put the other ecm on my truck and had the same issue.

You explained the reason for the problem in your first post. The ECM doesn't run on your heavily modified engine but works fine on another, probably stock, truck.

Whatever person tuned it doesn't understand how to tune for the mods you've listed. At minimum, the airflow numbers at start are incorrect.

Find another tuner.

The truck it worked on was a 6.0 with l92 heads, had a mild cam, and an ls3 intake. I started but the truck didnt idle perfectly. I guess I forgot to mention that..

I am considering getting a better tuner out here.

Have you verified the reluctor rings are the same on the old motor vs the new?

Gen3's used a 24x ring and Gen4's use 54x ring. They are not interchangeable.

All the more reason to suspect it's a calibration issue. That's basically stock cubes with not much cam (intake doesn't affect startup), if it started and ran poorly then that means it's almost certainly not tuned for the larger engine.

So I finally got the truck to start yesterday. Turns out it was the tune on the ecm. Thanks to you guys that suggested the tune was not done properly.

Still gonna look for a tuner as right know I flashed the stock tune and the truck started and stayed on. I had my suspicions about the tune since I got the ecm back.

Atleast now I know the engine is good and not the problem.
