Default PCM is not returning O2 sensor data?!?!?!

Has anyone ran into this problem?? My dad is having issues on his truck with it failing a systems readiness test for emissions. So hook up my efi live and it shows "PCM is not returning O2 sensor data" Ive tried driving it, unhooking the battery almost everything ,It was tuned and it now has a 100% stock file on it now.

Im really lost on what to do. I even logged the O2 sensor PIDs and they are reading perfectly so its functioning and actually sending info to the PCM.

The truck runs awesome no problems just won't pass emissions.

Anyone seen this or heard of it??

Suggestions?

Have you tried a Different PCM???

It's possible the internal Board is damaged or corroded and is not seeing the info needed for it to pass the monitors. Usually one of the traces goes bad.

Usually you see things like injector drivers go bad. But I have heard of a similar issue to yours with the coolant temp as well not allowing it to go into closed loop. The wiring checked fine. The sensor was replaced with a known good one as well as checked in another vehicle and checked good.

No i haven't since i don't have a spare one just laying around. But it might be worth a try but
id hate to throw parts at it though. the dealer says just keep driving they've never seen it. so idk what to tell him, i think if it last too much longer he'll just go trade it in hahah
