i have a 2011 5.3 lc9. 125000 miles. bolt ons including long tubes, offroad y, intake, tune. 6l80e with 4.10s. usually run e85.. have an injector that keeps failing. have pulled it and wasn't dirty at all but when ahead and cleaned it anyways. would it be possible to run ls3 42lb injectors out of a 2014 Camaro if I were to have everything adjusted for in the tune? Would just replace with all factory but a buddy has a set that only have a couple thousand miles on them. I'm pretty sure the connector is the same(ev6) but would I need spacers to make them work in my truck 5.3? would I still be able to run e85 fuel with ls3 injectors or would I have to just run 91-93? I don't really know much about these engines which is why I'm asking for help. Possible dod/afm delete with cam in the future as well.. so my main question is can I run ls3 injectors in my truck lc9 5.3 as long as everything is adjusted in the tune that needs to be...

you will need spacers since the ls3s are shorter but the connectors are the same, ive been using those same injectors for over a year with no issues. your tuner will be able to adjust for the larger injectors since the data for them is readily available
