You reposted before me. I've never seen any DOD stuff, that's different.
Anyway, have fun with the 2-bar. I'd like to see you put a vacuum gauge in the blower inlet and test before and after you remove the MAF to check if it was restrictive.

My MAF will likely stay in place, to pass 'visual' inspection. Might come off at the track, haven't really thought about it. My 2-bar MAP came in today, so I may get this done in the next week or so.
