Default 2-bar SD

Well guys, I just ordered my new 2-bar map. It should be here by the end of next week, then I plan to start retuning the truck over the weekend.

To those of you who have done this before, do you have any 'tips/tricks' or advice for me? I've watched the tutorials & I've been reading up, and it doesn't seem like it will be too bad. I just don't like surprises. I will be using my HPT Beta. Thanks in advance!

Would you mind telling me where you got the MAP from? maybe even the part number. I am going to SD soon and I am still not exactly sure what i need to get.

Thanks and Good luck to you!

Not hard. The tutorials cover it pretty well. Just be sure and and start VE rich. I think they state to multiply the entire table by 10%. Make sure you do that step.

Be prepared to spend a lot of money on gas tuning it. VERRRRRYYY VERRRRYY light throttle transitions.

Yea...just not too rich or everything goes to ****, ask me how I know

Also, if your wideband is through the EGR port you have to redo it through some other way since the EGR tables arent in the 2bar SD os. I used the ac high pressure since that is pretty common. Im assuming you are using hptuners.

GM part number 12615136, list price is just over $90, if you don't get a discount. If you're in the lower 48, you could go to GMpartsdirect.com and get it for around $45 plus shipping.

The business will be buying the gas. Light throttle transitions??? Crap! That's not gonna be easy, I have a lead-foot.

I have an AEM wideband, and it's wired to connect to my MVPI Pro interface. Hopefully that will make things easier?
