Default 09 6.2L into 04 SSS help with computer questions...please!

Hello and thanks for helping! I want to install a 2009 6.2 w/6sp automatic from an Escalade AWD into my 2004 Silverado SS. I am very mechanically inclined, but electronics cause me a bit of trouble. My question is about retaining the factory 6.0 ECM to control all dash/AC/BCM functions...does anyone know how to go about this? I will use the 09 6.2 ECM to control motor and tranny. The wiring is not a problem...but getting my OLD brain around the actual specific sensors, etc. that need to be swapped and which need to actually run to both ECM's throws me a bit. Are resistors used to cause dummy ECM think it is controlling functions or can I just cut outgoing wires, without it throwing code? I would appreciate any help from folks that have actually done this!
Please don't suggest buying a harness...if I can't build my own hot rod...I have no desire to own one.
Thanks!
Jim

Speartech did a similar swap awhile ago i wanna say in an 02 theyre the ones to talk to, theres a thread about it on here somewhere i will see if i can find a link, but basically they had to build a harness to piggyback the two computers the e38 and tcm for the ls2 and 6l80 and then the stock pcm for guages ac etc....

Thanks wolftrk99...but unless I missed it, there is no info on how exactly he did the piggyback! I contacted Speartech's tech help...but the gentleman that responded stated they sold no harnesses other than stand alones, had no info on the swap and appeared to have no knowledge of the swap.

Just tried to private message Speartech but he's over his quota and it would not go through. I'm sure he's swamped with request!

I have not done this, but the TBSS uses both serial and can bus protocols, as well as it has a similar set up as the SSS when it comes to BCM, Gauge cluster and HVAC systems. I have not done this, but I do believe that an E67 ECM will be able to control both the SSS stock gauges, and accessories, as well as the newer engine and trans... Once again, I have not done it, but in theory if you set the SSS up as a tbss, you should be good to go. the other option is to ditch the 6l80, do a 4l80, change the reluctor wheel on the crank and use the stock SSS pcm to run the engine.

Thank...but the whole purpose of switch is to have 6 speed with low first gear and change the frt and rear gears to 3.23 or 3.42 for fuel mileage. I drive alot. I'll check to see but I don't think it's an e67.
