I have no idea what my trans temp gets to, but I'm running a 40k True cooler on top of the stock system, the gauge in the truck is split in the middle at 210 for the cooling system, I also have not done my 05+ swap to the bigger radiator yet as I am waiting for my 6.0 to be done and then I will do it all at once, BUT from what I have read and from what other members online here have said the temps for the cooling system is normal, plus I live right off the lake here in Ohio and we don't really get the temps that others do in the southern states, yes it gets hot but,no were near Texas temps.

i have my Efans come on at 205 and off at 200, fan 2 comes one at 215 and off at 205.(stock Tstat)
Fan 1 comes on with the AC. Both have a minimum run time and a shut off delay mixed in so the relays arent constantly working.
If you have a 160 Tstat i could see the 174*, but mine never gets under 185 cruising down the road so the fans wouldnt ever go off.

I'm still running a stock thermo, for now, when I do the other motor, I'm gonna do the bigger 2005 radiator, lower thermo, and I think I am gonna do Engine ice, just because I have such a overstock of it.
