Default Revs Out Of Control

If I shift in to neutral at any speed above 15/20 mph the rpms will climb out of control & have to shut it down. Also get P2173 high air flow & engine shuts down at times. Anybody got any ideas? Software issue? Map sensor?

I'd start by cleaning the MAF sensor
Is your filter dry or oil?

No MAF, MoPars have a weird air speed density formula the pcm uses.
The AirAid uses filter oil. I did clean & re-oil it about 4 months ago. Maybe the air temp or map sensors got contaminated with the fresh oil?

It's not wierd, it's what Chev guys upgrade to.

Try putting the tune back to stock and see if the same problem exists. I know when my tune was completely screwed last winter my truck had similar issues.

Just got truck back today from a second attempt to fix problem by making tuning changes. No luck. It will also not decelerate normally in city driving, very slow to respond to letting off the gas ( almost like 30 mph cruise control ). Tried changed t-bodies, no difference. I"m almost ready to through the stock cam back in. Driveability has been this way since cam & head install. But I'm not giving up yet, the wot performance is what I was going for and got no complaints there!

Tried a new t-body, no change. If it's not the tune, I'm stumped. Anyone have experience with this cam, ( Comp 273H ) in a Hemi Ram?

that sounds a lot like the Throttle Cracker needs adjusted. I had to adjust mine after the cam install and again after putting a 9" converter in.

Do you mean adjust the butterfly opening in the t-body? Mine is all enclosed with no obvious adjustment points ( drive-by-wire ).
