check the map sensor i had similar issues wen mine got plugged

 

So far I've tried a new t-body, iat sensor, map sensor ( had to grind down a couple tabs on the manifold). No change. It's the tune or maybe the pcm??

 

I was thinking something like GM's throttle cracker/follower but Mopar is likely a lot different along that aspect. It controls how quick the throttle releases and If it's set too high it will act as a cruise control.

Have you tried Modern Hemi at the top of this forum? Your pt.net login will work there.

 

sounds like you have a vacuum leak or the tune is way off. Who is tuning it

Sounds like this needs to simply be tuned properly for the cam.

How is it tuned currently, if at all?

Hemifever has tuned a few comp 273s. He can fix your airflow issue assuming that you do not have. Mechanical issue. I would contact him he is very knowledgeable and right now an sct tuner is $375 shipped with unlimited custom tuning.

Since you had the heads off, i am assuming that you also had the intake off. I would look into a possible vacuum leak as noted by the code above.
