You might be racing a police officer.

Oh and by the way arguing with most cops is a waste of your time, breath, and money, they are not here to serve and protect any longer, they are LAW ENFORCEMENT now.
You will never win an argument with someone who is exempt from 99% of the **** you get tickets for.
I have three family members in the force, they all tell me the same thing so its futile!!

Most law enforcement around here have bad attitudes. Occasionaly you come across a few who genuinely protect and serve. Some feel they can actually make a difference. Once they realize they can't and they get tired of arresting the same people over and over again, they either quit or get a bad attitude. The good ones usually make TPD, but a lot of the rejects become Sherriffs or U of A PD. Those are the one's that have little man syndrome and go around beating thier chests.
We had 74 murders in Tucson in 2008. I think its the worst year yet. 30 of those murders are unsolved. We have shiny new traffic cams and vans that take your picture. All the motorcycle cops have shiny new bikes and most of the fleet of crown vics are new. WTF is going on here?!? Hire some detectives you say? No, hiring detectives doesn't turn a profit. Taking pictures of people doing 42 in a 40 does.
There's actually a protest going on over traffic cams as I type.
Crime is rampant here IMO, but you can rest assure the law will show up if swerve to avoid a pothole, or you go 2mph over.
Edit: To be completley fair to the cops, I'd probably have a bad attitude if I had to write speeding tickets all day long knowing that there are real crimes occuring.

I'm going to say that was a real cop, but one who doesn't take his profession too serious. I saw (and heard) a radio mounted in the car.

They ticket people if they have a bulb out, or a slightly different color light, or a reflector that's white or basically any kind of light/lense that's not factory, but they can have Disney's Electric Light Parade on wheels and we get to pay for it.

Exactly, they showed his face in that video. Don't you think he would have been fired for being unprofessional if he were actually a real cop? Think of how many people would want to turn him in.
