wow just met Jack Roush
I have to share something like this! I really dont met to many well known legends like him. All I can say is my Foreman gets a phone call from the boss saying that Jack is showing up to the air hanger in 7 minutes and is flying a WW2 plane and we need to make sure the taxi area was clean from construction traffic.
I didnt know what to think of when he did a fly-by at around 200mph close to the ground and circle around and land... He got out of the plane with a look of a normal person just stopping by to check things out, he slid down the wing to the ground and came over, when we shook hands I wanted to ask so many questions but I didnt have to he is that kind of person that just talks in motor-head terms - relate to when he did this or that back in the 80's and 90's.

Not bad for starting a new job 2 weeks ago doing industrial HVAC, I think I might stay around for a while

yeah is wasnt all that bad
heres a little clip of him doing another fly by (leaving) and taking it straight up into the air. It was sunny out and I couldnt see him in the phone so I had to guess it, also I was a little late on recording him. its when hes already starting to go vertical and the plane made some loud *** noise i dont know if it was the wind or not but you can hear it in the clip.

yes sir thats the one 12 cylinder- MINT he said he bought it from California and had it all taken apart and put back together with new panels, rivets, hoses and his own custom billet pieces - crazy- not a drip of oil anywhere, looks brandnew - he had it painted though, i guess the originals had bare aluminum panels. he also turned it into a 2 seater.
