Just realized I have been sober for almost a week :nunchuk1: can't do that, no way, no how.

So how long has everyone been sober? I know a few have been sober for a few years. I try for 2 days now, seems like an ok compromise to my lifestyle

 

Is this where Im suppose to pat you on the back and tell you, you're "cool"?

 

Nah, there a few on here that have been sober for a while I could use the encouragement...

 

been 4 years sober now (alcohol). it got bad when i was in college..... i really went to meetings.

been 8 years sober now off of drugs.

I have been sober since sat, so 2 days.. But think ima get tweaked tom, then this thurs fri sat sunday again at canal day..

 

20 years and 10 days.

i have been sober since october 25th, 2008. i got a dwi october 3rd, then had an encounter with the cops the only time i drank after that so i decided to stop dinking.

 

I've been sober and clean since March 16th. 1991....that's 18 years for you beotch's

We can make fun but it's a serious topic and I'm sure many won't speak up if not treated as such. I find life today (without mind altering substances) much more rewarding. Every morning when I get in my truck I think about how many dents it would have (or not even have it) if I was still drinking.

Good for you Nate, a week is a huge accomplishment!! Seriously, I could never tie 2 days together before I made the decision to try something different.

There is a lot of help on here if you want it, you just have to want it is all!
