In FFA my junior year the teacher passed a patition around for this same thing. I was the only one to not sign it. Actualy got in a small argument with a girl next to me because she thought I was wrong for not signing it. I told her I didn't know enough about the petition and she tried to sign my name. I scratched it out and sent it along.
The teacher then explained what was going on and explained what I felt was common sence at that point. If you don't know what you are a part of then ask questions or move along!

Yeh I remember seeing that. It just baffles me how incompetent people can be, how easily they go about doing **** like this with no clue.

Our parents taught us right from wrong. The also taught us how to make intelligent decisions. I try to do the same every day with my kids. Problem is I have my ex wife constantly make ignorant decisions almost every day so I am fighting an up hill battle.
Most importantly our parents TAUGHT us! Many parents today don't do much but feed and clothe their kids. This is why the world is such a shitty place! Learning isn't a 8:30-3:30 only thing at school. Constant learning and teaching is what it takes to make ignorant young children to informed and intelligent young adults. Then you can only hope they continue to learn and teach them self!

We have a nation full of idiot followers. Our government and society are proof that good leaders are becoming extinct. In the corporate management world it means more to be politically correct than know how to do your job well.
