Just curious who leaves their junk on all the time, other then it hibernating or sleeping after not using it for a set amount of time... I seldom turn mine off.. Am I the only one?????

I don't turn mine off unless I will be gone for a few days.

 

mine stays on pretty much all of the time

 

I just close the lid on mine and it goes to sleep... I don't like hibernation, I have had some bad experiences with that... However, if you leave it plugged in all the time that is bad for the battery, it needs to run all the way down periodicaly from what I have been told to get maxium life out of it... I have to buy a new $180 battery for my laptop cause I left it plugged in all the time... My laptop is only 1.5years old...

 

I turn mine off every night....why would you want to leave it on?

I don't turn mine off, I don't like to wait when I want to get on I want to get on....

well, to blank out ram...give the cpu some down time. I keep the battery out once fully charged too. My laptop starts up in like 15 seconds....maybe you need to clean up and clear up some system resources?

 

Mine has been on for over a year.

 

mine stayed on for a year or so. it died and turned off... my power button broke and i cant turn it on... so mine stays on lol
