the company i used to work for, we used to cut 20 big yards a day between 3 ppl, we beat the **** outta them echos and them things were fuggin beasts... of course youll have the average wear and tear if you beat em up like we did but like stated, if you take care of it, a Stihl or Echo will probably last a regular home owner id say ATLEAST 20 yrs

I have had a stihl for about 5 years now and all I have done is change the plug and put line in it. I also have a stihl chainsaw that you just cannot kill. I have been really happy. But you may want to do what I did and hit the pawn shops. You can find almost new stuff and pay pennies for it. I got a stihl 310 chainsaw that was just dirty for 100 bucks all I did was clean it up and use it for the last 5 or so years.

oh and i serously doubt your weedeater runs for 6 hours per day...ill knock out 5-7 yards a day when i work alone and i would say the weedeater only runs for about 1 hour over all of those lawns. 6 hours is some SEROUS acerage or your mowing entire yards with just a weedeater.

weedeaters ran for 5-6hrs out of an 8hr day. All we use are Stihl trimmers
and chainsaws.
