What do YOU want in the next Silverado SS?

Don't forget a sweet LUNDZ kit and a giant "Chevy" sticker on the front window and various other parts of the truck, a snorkle, 225/70/15 tires, and 8 exhaust tips

I think you guys are way off the mark with what you want, what you are willing to pay, and what GM will actually man-up and do...
They will probably try to put it in an ecsb config again, stock 3ton wheels... it will probably end up with the 14B and the 6spd auto, but the engine dept will probably leave plenty to be desired.... not to mention, all the BS they will put in/on it will jack the weight up to damn near 6K, and beyond.
Probably run some more awesome low 15's stock
Some version of the 6.2 will most likely be between the fenders but not the f/i motor we all want and whoever said 750hp from the factory is absolutely ludacris... it will never happen.... thats just the cold hard facts...

From: as far away from Koonerville as humanly possible
ANY cab/shortbed configuration, 2wd or AWD option, LS3/6L90/14-bolt, whatever gear you want, true dual exhaust, some nice (light) 17's or 18's, rear leveled, cloth seats (leather optional in ALL cabs), PW/PL, etc., no body moldings
In a nut shell, do it just about like the TBSS.

SCSB, Basic interior, Good guage package (Tranny temp, Tach that reads higher then 6k Etc) 427ci, 6spd Manual, AWD option, Lowered stance, 20's or stagered. Strong rear end, strong Driveshaft. Somthing like that.

Yea its just too bad the Lightning wasn't much of a truck with a shitty payload and tow rating.
I think they should make it with AWD/2WD currently. Also make it a standard cab to keep the weight down. Dont lower the crap out of it or put bigger than 20" wheels on it so it can still be used as a truck. LS3 with a 6 speed auto would be fine with me.
A 427 would be nice but keeping the price under $40K would be a requirement. Any more than that and I would just jump up to a diesel.
