I feel that a performance truck should be faster than the other regular trucks out there. Otherwise it's just a purdy truck with purdy badges and some cladding.

for once i will agree with you. i promise not to make it a habit

I think they should make it with AWD/2WD currently. Also make it a standard cab to keep the weight down. Dont lower the crap out of it or put bigger than 20" wheels on it so it can still be used as a truck. LS3 with a 6 speed auto would be fine with me.

A 427 would be nice but keeping the price under $40K would be a requirement. Any more than that and I would just jump up to a diesel.
You could be thinking of the Syclone...that thing was a performance truck with no towing or hauling capabilities.

Yeah, the Sy was 500lb payload, and no towing. Same with the Ty, but people tow with them all the time. I guess they just stay out of boost or something.

You don't get high CR or boost and a lowered stance without giving up some kind of towing/payload performance. You can't have it all.

6l+ minimum engine,
14 bolt rear,
6l80, or 6 speed manual with a sort shifter, not the sailboat mast that was in my 93WT
425HP minimum
Leather interior
Option for SCSB or ECSB
2WD or AWD option
Performance button for high octane use like Tow Haul Button except better.

Big gay *** spoiler like the Dodge Daytona Truck.....JK

You know, like the way you used to be able to order your truck special from a list of available options......WTFU GM!
