Default Vacation 2010 Oregon *Lots of pics*

Just back from my week vacation with my parents and Girlfriend in Oregon. Last year we visited Montana and Wyoming and spent most of the time in Yellowstone park, So this year we kinda wanted to do the traveling thing again.

We spent the first day driving up to San Francisco and and driving the coastline to Eureka for the night. After that was up to Oregon where we stayed on the coast in a couple different towns.

Then we went more inland and stayed 3 nights on the Rouge river. We did a 5 hour jet boat ride up the Rouge river that was pretty awesome. It was a 75 Mile trip with dinner half way down the river. The boats are custom made By the guys at hellgate jet boats, All aluminum and weigh 10K LBS loaded, 2 454 big blocks with a jet for each( I forgot the size jet). The boat turned on a dime, and could drift haha. But anyways on to the pics.

Enjoy.

These First couple Pics are Northern Cali Coastline, Around the Humboldt County area. Beach on side of the Hwy and forest on the other..

Oregon:

Our hotel in Newport Oregon.

I dont remember exactly but this was after 9PM, Still pretty light out. Sunsets around 9:45-10.

Our view from the Hotel on the Rouge river.

This is the Jet boat we rode on, They go right passed the Hotel.

Another driver doing a 360,

I was born & raised in Oregon, and I remember when our family took that tour. I think I was 10 or 12 years old, but I remember seeing some wild looking crystal-ice type formations way way back in the caves. They even had different colored lighting on them to make it even more dramatic looking. Wish I had some pics of it.
