Time to get the wife a new car, need suggestions

There are plenty of used 09 ss's for high teens, and thats just the asking price. With a tune guys are getting mid 30s in them on the highway running 70 which is exactly what we need.
The G8 is out because I know Ill play with it and have full exhaust and a cam in it within the first month so I know better than to get that one. Atleast with the cobalt its going to take a little while for me to learn what to do with it so itll at least have a couple months before I start messing with it
Phantom is DD.

You don't think you'll tweak a SS? Ya right. I think there's greater support for it than the G8.

Heck, I can even tell u that a LSJ was a Cobalt motor code. Scary. I even know what exhaust I'd use, downpipe...
I can even tell u what shop makes has an ultra quick 1, their on the other side of the state. But I'd go w/. them. If I told u, I'd have your wife pissed at both of us.
It'll run w/. some of the very fast trucks on this site.

I haven't read on HWY mileage on the tuned ones, but I'd be lyin if I said I never went on some Cobalt S/S sites. Support is incredible.

I know Ill tweak it a little bit but while its my wifes DD the most it will probably get power wise is an intake and tune to help with mileage. If I can find an exhaust that sounds stock and nets some decent power gains then Ill do that too but I dont want it to sound like a ricer. It seems getting an aftermarket downpipe, deleting the resonator and getting a nice muffler nets some decent power gains, they just sound like **** IMO. The LNF is a pretty badass little engine

I listened to some sound clips too, & I believe there's another that sounds good ( as in non-ricer).I could tell u I'd only do tune, intk, header (that sounds funny as does a head upgrade not heads) , downpipe. Its like trucks, 1 thing leads to another.

LNF that's it. Somebody has been doin some reading.

If I was shopping and knew I had a kid on the way, I'd consider getting a baby seat in and out of the back. Go to Wal-mart and buy one, put 20 lbs in it, and test it out. Then take the seat back cause you'll get one as a gift anyhow. Our Tahoe is almost too tall. A TBSS would probably be optimum height, but depends on your wife's height. A friend has a 4 door Civic and has complained about it as far as a baby seat goes, but his wife is a little thick.

No fart can exhaust for me. Corsa sells a kit, & it costs what 1 for our truck is.

Theres no header upgrade on the LNF unless youre talking about the Hahn aftermarket header but I think thats for the supercharged ones converting to turbo.

Just the ones Ive already posted

Same one I posted pics of a while back, Ive only been with her for quite a while.

Shes only 5'2" so a short vehicle is needed for her. Ive sat in one of the cobalts I wouldnt want to drive it all the time like she will but its the perfect size for her I think.
