yeah the baby seat is something to look at, it takes up alot of room in the back seat.... my wife has a 08 nissan altima... you should check them out, they are more like a mid size sedan, and they are about the same price as the cobalt and look better IMO... and it also gets hi 20's mpg...

there is alot of parts for the turbo ss there a company called zzp that make a how bunch of stuff for them this coming former cobalt ss owner.

Ive been reading on their forums all morning long and the more I read the more I think this car is for us. Seems teh biggest complaint is the rear brake caliper piston sticking and wearing out pads which is an easy fix. Then the typical GM creaks, rattles and pops.

With practically no mods these things fly, catless downpipe, charge pipe, K&N filter, tune, and an intercooler these things are clicking off LOW 13s but the trap speeds are in the low 11Xs. Not a bad little roll racer
