I know its not a compact, but I just got the wife a Chrysler 300 Limited with the 3.5L motor. Its not fast, or even sporty, but man, that thing is ****. Beautiful inside and out, tremendous interior, trunk space for three, maybe four dead bodies and it rides like an absolute dream. And get 29mpg highway, maybe 24-25 city. I love that car, I am thinking about getting the SRT8 version for myself.

We have the HHR SS '08 Turbo 5-spd, and it's in your glorious Longhorns Burnt Orange. The car comes stock at 260hp, and with the upgrades Eric has added the car is at 290fwhp. Fun to drive.. of course.

As far as room, Eric is 6'4" and he fits it both the front and rear seats. Both rear seat fold down flat, and are also coated with a very heavy plastic and the same on the rear deck (hatchback). The car gets on an average 25mpg when you're not leaning into it.

A few years back, even Farmer Beau made and appearance, and went for a test drive.

Well she doesnt like the gray inlay on the cobalt ss seats, but she likes the G8s so its looking like we're going to get one of those as soon as I can find one semi near in black with the sport and premium packages that the dealer doesnt want 25K for, for a used car that cost at most 29 driving off the lot. This whole car buying thing is such a PITA when you have to take into account some elses preference too.

Wrong thread?

WSM all the way, the win mag just has been around for so long everyone has them. If you look at ballistics charts they are pratically neck and neck and the WSM kicks less. Id never put a muzzle brake on a gun I planned on hunting out of a stand with. Dont get the barrel far enough out of the stand and bye bye hearing.

Ive got the WSM, Win mag, RUM(remington ultra mag) and a 300 weatherby, with that said I shoot the WSM. Best all around gun out there IMO, packs the biggest punch with the least kick. You can put any animal that walks this earth on the ground with it. 500yds and under its my gun of choice. The only time I carry something else(weatherby 30-378) is when we're elk hunting and I know I may have to take 7-800yd shot, the WSM could probably make the shot but its a bit out of its territory at that distance.

SON OF A! Thanks. I've never needed to shoot past 200 yds but the .270 didnt make it all the way out of my big buck this year. It didn't make a solid connection with any bones. If I had not seen him go down, I could have lost him. This makes me cringe. Need bigger but not huge. I think I'm sold on the WSM. Thanks and sorry to hijack your thread. You obviously got to it before I could edit it.
