You know what you NEED to do, borrow Corey's slicks, and just make the trip to Ennis and see can you DO need to make better. But using 1/8 miles times to guess what new mods you need isnt a great way. You may spend money on parts and then make your trip to the 1/4, BUT you may be closer than you think and be able to spend less to meet your goal.

In English- Make a 1/4pass and see what you need to REALLY improve.

I went 13.0 with a 224/227 cam and converter in my sig with 4.10s. But also remember I weigh considerably less.... I'd say try the cam you've got, just maybe do a little more tuning on it. You'd be suprised what suspension alone will do for your e/t. Then after that change engine components. I also had dual cutouts,

You need weight reduction, more tire, and a MUCH better 60ft time to put that thing in the 12s n/a.

Just coming from someone whose been there....

I think I can bring my 60 ft down decently with some DRs or ETs. Also, I am really not sure of the weight of my truck, I need to get it weighed. I'm assuming its around 4800 lbs without me in it.

randy did 12.59 @ 104 with a rcsb with the same cam.
your at 80 mph in the 1/8th so figure that will equal to 100 mph in the 1/4 which will be enough.
get some slicks on there and let it rip.
i totally agree....

just get you some slicks and take it to the track... some 26's should work out better, if you hook! they might be too small but that is what adrenalinep used...

If I am going to use slicks, I would really want to be using 28"s if anything. Running a 26" tire just kinda feels like cheating to me. I know that sounds stupid, but if I'm going to be running a 30.5" tire on the street, I want to get a time that is more consistent with how i drive around every day.

Also, just noticed my sig was wrong. it shouldve said 1.955 60ft.
