I work outside everyday, and lose about 5-7lbs in water.

I know what you mean..Not looking foward to Friday or Saturday here in San Diego

Sun Mon Tue Wed Thur Fri Sat
75* 75* 75* 75* 75* 78* 80*

At least you dont live around a bunch of homo libs..and pay 10% State sales tax ..not to mention c.a.r.b.. Texas is about as "Free" as it gets here in America..Me and the Wife have considered moving there a few times..hard to take a 50% cut in pay though..damn right to work state..But considering the lowest 2 br Condo we could find here in SD was $375,000...a $100,000 House in TX with a yard would offset the wages I suppose..

-What is the temp usually for you guys?

We normally are around 100 from June to September but the rest of the year is pretty damn nice IMO if you like warmer weather. Our winters only get down in the 30s a handful of times and we can play outside year round so you cant beat it IMO.

I just bought a 4 bedroom 2 bath just shy of 1800 sq ft for a little over 100K, it was a foreclosure but in good condition and was built in 04 on a decent sized corner lot. Our cost of living is WAY lower so you could take a 50% paycut and probably increase your standard of living. I know a lot of people who have moved from CA to especially here in Austin with all the techy crap and have taken huge paycuts but are able to afford more.

From what if seen Austin needs rain bad. Lake & river front property should be getting cheaper by the day.
