So, in 30 days of 100° weather, you've lost 150-210 lbs.?!?

Jerk.

Your tax is the highest in U.S., right? Or darn near it.

I just bought a 4 bedroom 2 bath just shy of 1800 sq ft for a little over 100K, it was a foreclosure but in good condition and was built in 04 on a decent sized corner lot. Our cost of living is WAY lower so you could take a 50% paycut and probably increase your standard of living.
80% humidity w/. index of well over 120? I thought Tx was a dry heat. Sorry, I can't handle heat, not what u guys get. I guess it depends on what you're used to.

Also, as I've gotten older, my tolerance for extremes, be it cold or hot, has gotten worse. Used to be I wasn't bothered by below 0° - 30 or so. That kills me know. And heat, much over 80, unless it's low humidity & / or a nice wind. IDK how u guys in TX do it for 4 mos. Like I said, y'all are used to it to some degree.

Cost of living can be a game changer.

Every time I am cleaning the driveway I wonder why I am still in NY. I can't believe my ancestors risked their lives to make it across the ocean, and said well looks like we will live here in 2 feet of snow. And I'm stupid enough to stay. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

As for that 132 heat index going off a 102.2 temp...sorry but I gotta wave it.

IDK where that forcast is from, but cmon a +30 increase from temp to index?!? 10-15 sounds more normal index adjustment. IMO

makes me appreciate the office i work in. i come in before anyone else and set the a/c to 68* and let the thing chug away for an hour or two. never gets below 69* for some reason so constant flow is amazing. ahhh..the life of computer nerds. physical labor? nahhh
