That sucks. When I was a store manager at Advance I always stocked quite a few of those relays in that location because they were half the price of the equivalent in GPSorensen or whatever brand was the "OE" behind the counter. If you ask to look in the catalog for their OE relays, you can see diagrams and find that standard relay back there and typically they'll have plenty in stock since they are a very versatile relay. Or, if you know what line they carry, they usually have their catalogues listed on their website in pdf format so yuo can find the numebr before you go in too!

I too wondered when I 1st saw this thread, why not contact Nelson? But if they failed...well, u said why? Why possibly repeat. IMO, u just wanted to post a thread & up your post count.

But yea, didn't want to get more bum relays, especially since I've read of others having problems with theirs right out of the bag...I don't want to knock the harness though, so far it's been great.

At a tire shop today, some old guy came up and complimented my truck. He asked if I had a 350 in it (I mean why wouldn't I, right?). Then he asked if a 5.3 was a bigger motor than a ford 5.0......
That's about right when I pulled through the grass and jumped the curb and took off down the road...
