i'm not in the know on everything going on, but from what i understand is they are calling him guilty because he refuses to argue with them? is that correct for the most part?

 

I say its bs. There giving test before an after just like the Olympics. An from what they say they keep blood samples on file each yr. So they can go back an test against new drugs. He won 7x an has not failed. The only thing they has is people who say they seen him use drugs, bs. I don't think he would use in front of people if he did. He has done so much in fund raising for cancer. I'm with him.

I don't care what they say. Lance is the MAN. I have watched the last three tours of France. Unbelievable what those guys do. If you have ever ridden a bike 100 miles you have an inkling of how difficult the tour is. Drugs or doping it is one hell of an accomplishment just to finish the race.

 

My take on it...WHO CARES??? If they want to roid up and have little ***** and weenys, that's their deal. It makes sports more enjoyable to watch. Like baseball...Who wants to watch guys hit baseballs to the warning track? I want to see 500' bombers. Like naturally aspirated drag racing. No thanks. God invented roids, prochargers, turbos and nitrous for a reason

 

Basically, they have no chemical evidence that he blood doped. It was impossible to test for back when he was winning (actually just right before he started winning). I mean you could try to test for it but it doesn't work that way. Blood doping tests work by getting a "blood profile" of you over years. Blood doping in its simplest form means he trains in high altitude and removes his blood (specifically the red blood cells) and continues to train. Once at lower altitudes and in competition, add the extra blood cells to your system. More red blood cells, better oxygen efficiency. They catch you doing this by seeing your blood cells increase and decrease. They can't prove through tests he does or did this. But they have, I think 10 witnesses who say they have witnessed it and been part of the support. Those 10 witnesses can't be named because they are part of other investigations and won't be named without Lance going thru a hearing involving all of that. So they say.

I hate that if he's lying, he's lying. No, I don't think it's fair to go after old news with new technology, especially on one athlete. However that's not that easily explained. Blood doping tests come from "blood profile" testing over years. Did they do that to all bikers from his time? Didn't more than half the guys in the top ten of all his race wins get booted for failing one form of chemical/blood doping tests? Just saying, no proof but it is like our baseball, steroids were so rampant, it's safe to assume most were doing it. Sad for those who weren't, but sad it is.

Which is why I HATE the cheater. They ruin it for everybody else.

I only say, someone of his level would have a hard time blood doping and doing all the complicated removal, storage, insertion, and other high tech medical stuff without support. If we believe the "witnesses" who were given deals, then I hate that Lance is lying and he should just keep "riding" his Cancer thing out and never admit to it. His stepping down was a good strategic move if he was lying. Don't ever admit it either. EVER. Not on his death bed. Never. If he wasn't lying, and those witness are lying or there really isn't those witnesses, well that just plain sucks but imagine if he would fight and lose in a hearing. Then he's guilty even if he's not and his cancer awareness projects would die.

I say unfortunate no matter how you shake a stick at it, but he did the right thing, lying or not. If he should do anything at all, he should get a legal team together to attack the validity of the organization shutting him down.

I love what he has done for cancer awareness. In the fight for life, cheating to get a name for awareness and support of battling cancer is a good thing I suppose. I don't like it, but I turn my head I suppose.
