I agree, go to your insurance company first if you have full coverage.

Sad thing is you're phucked!!! If you would have hit her, you would have been payed. In your case, you did the only thing you should have. Your life is way more important than a bike!!! I've been there, phucking people **** me off!! I wrecked my brand new Sierra, slammed into a brand new Maxima, totalling it out. This dumb lady made a left turn, in front of me, from the far right shoulder. Yes, I could have slammed on the brakes or steered out of the way, but I didn't. I honestly was pissed off that day as another dumb *** almost hit me earlier. I did get my truck fixed, made some $, but felt bad cause I could have really hurt that lady bad. I hit her car right between the front and rear doors on the driver side. It's a very tough decision to make, but you should always make the right one. Life is the only thing important!!! Just sucks that sometimes we have to pay for someone elses ignorance. Just remember, what goes around comes around.

That's why I always carry Comprehensive coverage even on my hoopties. Comp. covers theft, fire, and vandalism. That way you can claim it got stolen and part the **** out on Ebay!

J/K

Good luck man, hope it works out for ya!
