I've been here since 8:45 and it's now after 2:00 and the ******* lawyers still haven't decided who they want. Luckily I'm not on the stand yet, but I'm back up and they're slowly sending people home.

Thankly our downtown area is all WIFI, so I have something to do until we reconvein. BOOOO!!!!!

Isn't supposed to be a jury of your peers. Pick the names out of a hat and be done with it. It seems like everybody has a problem with everything.

Just act like you're prejudiced about something and see if they cut you

 

Just tell them that all you know is that you grew up on a plantation in Georgia and that you think the blacks are always guilty. Regardless of whether anybody in the trial is black, you will get let off because you don't have 'fair judgement'...

 

Well I just got home! Ugh!

So we met back up at 2:45 where they announced the final jury. I figured I was good to go since they never asked me any questions. Well, I didn't get picked, but they told the rest of us to go back to the main waiting room. So we all sat there, because two judges couldn't make up their damned mind. Final they let some of us go at 4:10.

As for being racist, it wouldn't of mattered, that whole jury was white and half of them subsribed to hunting magazines and NRA stuff. I'm no match for that. The judges assistant was smokin' hot though, so at least I had something to look at.

yeah, the hell with jury duty.. I think they pay you like 12 dollars a day here... not even enough to cover gas and buy you lunch..
