Question?

i have a question, i used to run 15.4 with 3:42 gears, and my truck was bogging nasty at the line. i just dropped in some 4:11s with hoosier tires 27in in diameter, what do you think will be the difference in time?

you still dotn need tires at your times to be honest with you. i cut 2.1s consistant on a 235 good year street tire....step up to a 305 BFG street tire and pulled 1.98s and i was running alot faster times then you were
to much tire will cause you to bog!!!!!!!!!!some wheel spin is good

well the thing is i actually had street tires i had 295s bf good rich cause i couldnt get ahold of the 305s but my truck didnt hook for crap, and thats that i had 308 gears when i used them, it was to much spin almost the 1/8th mile. now wit the 411s i dont think i would hook at all

launching is more then just tires. i would leave around 1100 rpms and pulled the times i did. just saying at times your running and power your making, slicks arent needed. theres plenty of ppl with street tires doing pretty well going faster. its when they are making decent power and larger stalls

idk i need a 3000 stall and plus i messed up my tranny at the track, my third gear is slipping nasty, it really sucks, although with the gears my trucks 60ft was a 2.17 and it inproved from a 2.34 although like i said my third gear was just ruining the 1/4 mile times, what is it that you run?
