Puling out of the zone, a cop u turns on me, and pulls me over into a dark parking lot, with no lights or anything. Tells me my window tint is to dark, did not check it or anything! I told him its pitch black out here how can u tell? Didnt give me an answer, lol. But his squad car is jet black with blacked out windows I'm not stripping my tint, gonna pay the fine....

 

That is pretty surprising. I have never had a problem with tint here in TN.

 

bored i guess, i think the fine is like 100 bucks, gonna pay it. The cop even climbed under my damn truck to look at the exhaust, lol. Ive been living here for 9 years with no probs, hell i drove a 86 mustang with a 460, no hood and slicks, got thumbs up, tint the chevy and i committed murder

its only the State troopers in VA who really care about tint or at least are the only ones who i've known to pull anyone i know over for it

 

wonder how much the ticket is?

 

my buddy has 5% on his F250 and he got ticketed a few months ago and just paid it and left it like you are planning to do. His was 90 bucks i believe. Think it was a 30 dollar fine but then it was about another 60 with court costs

 

my tint is actually legal but a cop tried to ticket me for illegal tint about 6 months ago, i pulled the receipt out of the center console and he forgot all about it, then said he got me for speeding and gave me that ticket and a ticket for having the wrong address on my liscense.

 

If he didn't use a light meter to prove your tint is illegal then you can get out of it. At least that's how it works around here.

 

well first i have to figure out my court date, it says january 31st 2009, DAMN! im late as hell, lol. So i thought they might have meant 2010, well thats on a sunday....
